Sam Zimmerman is an Ojibwe (Grand Portage direct descendent) artist whose latest book Following My Spirit Home features eighty images and accompanying stories reflecting celebrating family lore and shared experiences centered in Ojibwe tradition and the natural beauty of Lake Superior’s North Shore where he and generations of his ancestors have lived.
