From 12:30 to1 PM on December 16th we will host our annual membership meeting. Immediately following, from 1 to 2 PM, Jerry Eliason from the Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society will give a talk titled “Lake Superior Shipwrecks in 3D”. Jerry began scuba diving in 1967 and, prior to a SCUBA diving accident in 1989 made 700 shipwreck dives. Since the accident he has been on the boat for the discovery of 22 shipwrecks! The Talk included with museum admission and will include a 3D look at some of the discoveries.
The mission of the Lake County Historical Society is to preserve the history of Lake County, Minnesota through the preservation, study and interpretation of artifacts, documents, photographs and historic sites and to tell the story of our past and present culture.
