The Lake County Historical Society has three fulltime staff people supported by seasonal employees and community volunteers. The staff is responsible for the business of the Society including operations of the museums, the gift shops, the Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast, maintenace and repair of all buildings and grounds, archive management, research assistance and museum exhibit design.

INNKEEPER & OFFICE ASSISTANT
Looking for a part-time job that offers variety? Join the Lake County Historical Society as Innkeeper and Office Assistant. This position will work mainly out of the historic Two Harbors Lighthouse and Depot buildings. This hourly position will be scheduled on a monthly basis and be anticipated to work alternating weekends throughout the year. Anticipated work hours between 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM and are anticipated to work every other weekend and some holidays. Anticipated work load is 24 hours per week year-round.

The mission of the Lake County Historical Society is to preserve the history of Lake County, Minnesota through the preservation, study and interpretation of artifacts, documents, photographs and historic sites and to tell the story of our past and present culture.
