The Lake County Historical Society has been collecting, preserving, and sharing the stories of Lake County Minnesota residents for nearly a century.
The Lake County Historical Society was established in 1925 to “collect, preserve and disseminate information about the County of Lake and Surrounding environs.” Mr. Owens, a pioneer railroader in the area, was elected first President of the Society by the eighteen (18) charter members.
Offering a variety of books, gifts, and toys you will find a little something to remember the North Shore. Proceeds from the museum store support the Lake County Historical Society’s mission to collect, preserve, and share the stories of Lake County, Minnesota.
