Stop in early to grab some of their signature food and drink while learning a bit of history! In honor of the 40th running of the Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, we welcome Mike Keyport. Mike is a Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Tribal Member and proud to be a Great Grandson of John Beargrease. Mike will present the history of John Beargrease and his family living on the rugged shores of Lake Superior back in the late 1800s and early 1900s and John’s US Mail carrying days by dog sled.
