Museums

The Lake County Historical Society is fortunate to feature an entire campus along Two Harbor’s Historic Waterfront. We open three museums for your enjoyment; The 1907 Duluth & Iron Range Depot Museum, the 1892 Two Harbors Light Station, and the 1902 Dwan Building, birthplace of 3M and home to the 3M Museum.

MUSEUMS

The Two Harbors Light Station and 3M Museums are CLOSED for the Season effective October 22 2017, The Depot Museum is open Saturdays from 11 AM to 4 PM.


Admission: $5.
Specials and Discounts:

A) Purchase a $10.00 “Multi-Ticket” for all three museums and recieve $5 OFF the full admission to all three museums! We also date the ticket so you can use it over the course of two days while staying in the area.

Depot Museum

Effective October 22 2017 the Depot Museum is open Saturday from 11AM to 4 PM.

Two Harbors Light Station

The Light Station Museum is CLOSED for the season effective October 22 2017. Museum will reopen in May 2018.

Edna G. Tugboat

The Lake County Historical Society no longer provides Tour Operations on the Edna G throughout the summer. The City of Two Harbors and the Edna G Commission have awarded bids to complete the preservation work needed. For more info please contact the Commission through Two Harbors City Hall at 834-5631. 

3M Museum

The 3M Museum is CLOSED for the season effective October 22 2017. The museum will reopen in May 2018.
